Example: Report on Material Class by Seam in a Summary Report

The following example uses the gridded seam model from the coal_minex demonstration data set.

1. Open v90_coal_stripping.minesched.
2. If you have not run the schedule previously, in the Create Schedule tab, click Create Schedule.
3. Select Publish Results > Custom Reports.
4. In the Reports pane, click Create Report.
5. In the Global Group Properties:
   1. In the Output file name field, type "coal_seams_A_B_C".
   2. In the Report type field, select Summary.
   3. In the Periods by field, select Row.
   4. Select the Grand totals check box.
   5. In the Titles field, select Automatic titles.

   

6. In the Report definition:
   1. In the Value cell, select MASS.
   2. In the Materials cell, select COAL, then click in the cell and append ":A" to COAL.

   Note: Leave the default setting for all other cells.

   3. Click Copy (+) to add a new column.
   4. In the Materials cell, change the value from "COAL:A" to "COAL:B".
   5. Click Copy (+) to add a new column.
   6. In the Materials cell, change the value from "COAL:B" to "COAL:C".

   

7. Click Create Report.
8. Click View Report.

The report opens and displays the values for COAL for seams A, B, and C in three columns.
